ProLabs Transceiver Enables 2.5G Using NBase-T
ProLabs has come out with a new NBase-T transceiver. It enables 2.5G transfer speeds over Cat5e and Cat6 cable lengths of up to 100M.
Being able to reach these kinds of speeds on these types of connection is beneficial considering the broad embedded base of such cable and the fact that until recently it topped out at 1 gigabit per second.
